Zimbabwe recorded seven deaths and 278 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Child Care the government is taking measures to curb Covid 19 infections in schools.
Apparently, President Emmerson Mnangagwa has extended lockdown restrictions by further two weeks.
He maintained the same conditions as the previous lockdown.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe is among the 13 African countries who have achieved the World Health Organisation target of vaccinating more than 10 percent of population.
