Zimbabwe and Mozambique agreed on a Joint Venture to exploit gas at Buzi in Mozambique as well as build a Fertiliser Plant for the benefit of both countries, says President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Speaking upon his arrival from a working visit in Mozambique, Mnangagwa said the two countries worked on a number of areas of cooperation.
He said this include Zimbabwe’s possible participation in a pipeline project and port at Nacala.
The two countries enjoy cordial relations dating back to the liberation struggle.
Mozambique provided bases to Zimbabwean fighters.
On the other hand, Zimbabwe helped Mozambique fight terrorists in the 80s.
