Zimbabwe International Trade Fair 2016 gets underway in Bulawayo

The 2016 Zimbabwe International Trade Fair(zift) has started in Bulawayo.

There are about 390 exhibitors with 16 countries being represented at this year’s show.

South Africa is represented by 16 countries while the rest of the companies are from different SADC region countries.
The exhibition is running under the theme: “Innovate, Integrate, Industrialise”.

Zimbabwe has been experiencing serious economic challenges and the government hopes that the exhibition will help to show the country’s potential boosting the ailing industries.

The show Trade Fair will end on Saturday.

President Robert Mugabe is expected later this week to officially open the Zimbabwe Trade Fair 2016 in Bulawayo.
