Zimbabwe is currently importing half of its wheat from Russia and Ukraine, this is according Grain Millers Association.
While Zimbabwe grew its biggest wheat crop in years in 2021, it still imports 30% of its wheat requirements.
Imported wheat is used for bread flour and self-raising flour.
Meanwhile, the world gets most of its wheat from Russia and Ukraine and the current war between the two countries.
