8 people were killed in another Zimbabwe road accident after 2 vehicles collided head-on while travelling at speed.
The crash happened at the 43km peg on the Harare-Masvingo road.
According to a police statement, a B2200 Mazda truck with 8 people on-board encroached on the lane of an oncoming Volvo truck resulting in the head-on collision.
The report says, 7 people in the Mazda died on the spot while the driver of the same vehicle died upon admission at Beatrice Hospital.
Passengers who were in the Volvo truck escaped unhurt.
Unverified reports said the dead included members of the same family coming from a graduation ceremony at the Midlands State University.
