Minister July Moyo
More than 82 people have died and many more are missing in Zimbabwe after tropical cyclone Idai hit the nation with flash floods and ferocious winds, Local Government Minister July Moyo has revealed.
Minister Moyo warned that the number of fatalities is likely to rise.
However rescue efforts are underway as the civil protection unit’s priority is to reach to the Ngangu and the Nyahode-Rusitu confluence, which are both cut off, Moyo said.
