Zimbabwe celebrates 40 years of good relations with Russia

The government celebrates 40 years of excellent relations with the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.

The Ministry says the relationship between the two countries dates back to the time when Zimbabwe was fighting for its independence, when Russia played central role in providing arms and military training to freedom fighters.
