A National University of Science and Technology(NUST)student, Advance Mukose has been picked by Zimbabwe’s secret service operatives known as CIOs after he reportedly confronted Mugabe at graduation.
According to various reports, Mukose was one of 17 students who were shouting and waving posters calling for President Robert Mugabe’s resignation during a graduation ceremony in at NUST, in Bulawayo yesterday.
There are reports suggesting Mugabe was in foul mood when he saw the placards.
Makomborero Haruzivishe, the Zimbabwe Student Union spokesperson, told reporters that tough looking men in plain clothes apprehended Musoke while his friends managed to escape.
Mugabe is facing protests and hostilities at the country’s universities.
Last month, his paranoid security operatives confiscated pens at a graduation in Lupane as they feared that the pens could be used to attack Mugabe.
