At least 8 people died from Covid-related complications in Zimbabwe on Friday.
This came as 266 others contracted the respiratory illness, the ministry of health said.
Meanwhile, critics have lambasted the government for closing schools, saying prevailing situation don’t warrant shutting down of schools.
Apparently, the government recently announced that schools will reopen in February.
