Picture: Zimbabwe government officials die in CMED Bus accident

3 Zimbabwe government officials lost their lives when a hired bus overturned along the Harare Bulawayo road killing them on the spot.

The crash happened yesterday,  Thursday the 8th.

The bus overturned at Turnpike.

According to sources, the accident claimed lives of 3 people from the  Department of Sports and Recreation.

The driver of the Central Mechanical Equipment Department (CMED) (Pvt) Ltd chartered bus also died on Thursday.

The bus was on its way to Hwange, the hosts of this year’s Youths in Education (YES) Games which kick today (Friday) to December 13.

Images of the bus, landing on its roof, have been circulating on social media.

The affected ministry is yet to put a comment about the accident.
