Members of Zimbabwe Republic Police died on the spot when a vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and overturned in Kamative on Wednesday.
According to an eye witness, 2 police officers died on the spot.
The Zimbabwe police spokesperson could not respond to our reporters when asked to comment on the story.
Meanwhile in another accident in Matebeleland, Hwange based police officers were involved in a serious accident that left them hospitalised.
According to a witness who took the accident scene photo shown below, the police pick up vehicle veered off the road and crushed on to a side fence seriously injuring the occupants of the vehicle.
