Commuter omnibuses plying local Harare routes have mulled plans to at least increase fares with a 25 percent hike.

Some of the operators were sticking posters on their vehicles as of today, with others saying the rise is with effect from today while others start tommorrow.

There is no clear cut motive behind the rise yet, but the surge in fuel prizes over the past few days might have prompted the move. zwnews
