The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) has warned of planned power outages in different parts of the country.
In public statements, the power utility attributed the outages to maintenance works on its transmission lines.
Apparently, the country is facing serious power shortages due to a number of reasons, chief among them being depleted water levels at Kariba Dam and antiquated power generation and transmission equipment.
