The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) has announced the switching of of electricity in Harare to facilitate repairs.
ZESA through its power distribution arm, Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) urges people to treat all power lines as live.
Zimbabwe is also facing shortage of electricity owing to low water levels at Kariba Dam and obsolete power generation equipment.
