The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) and Dinson Iron & Steel Company have signed a joint venture deal.
The deal signed recently will see the construction of a 100km power distribution line.
“Today we signed Joint Venture Agreement with ZETDC for construction of the 100km power line from Sherwood to the Mvuma steel plant site.
“Grateful for the cooperation of stakeholders for making this happen,” said the steel company after signing ceremony.
The company said it will be the cash cow, as the single largest ZESA customer, for electricity with consumption of 500MW adding that they are building the infrastructure to support this and the larger economy.
