Zanu PF Mazowe MP Chidavaenzi found DEAD at hotel

A Zanu PF Mazowe Mr MP Edgar Chidavaenzi was found dead in his room at an posh  hotel in Harare on Thursday.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson confirmed the death today but did not give any more details as investigations are still going on.

A Zanu PF source who refused to be named told journalists that Chidavaenzi might have died from a long term ailment he has been suffering from.

The source could not give further details on the health issues behind the sudden death.

this comes at a time when Zanu PF members are currently locked in a fierce succession battle in which two powerful factions allegedly led by first lady  Grace Mugabe and VP Emmerson Mnangagwa are going toe to toe to take over from President Robert Mugabe when he leaves office.
