ZANU PF national political commissar Mike Bimha says the ruling party is on a mission to strengthen itself from cells going upwards.
He says this weekend, everyone including the Presidium will be going to their respective cells, adding that President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his family will be in Kwekwe.
Addressing a weekly press conference yesterday, Bimha said the cells are the most active organs of the party because everyone in the party belongs to a cell.
“That’s where vital information of the Party and vital information from above is shared,” he said.
He said the ruling party decided that they have a national cell day to be featured annually.
“It is now an annual event. This year it falls on Saturday 11 June 2022 meaning every Party member will go and attend a cell meeting starting at the same time throughout the country at 10am,” said Bimha.
