A Zambian national, Marjorie Mpundu has been appointed new World Bank country manager for Zimbabwe.
She is replacing outgoing Kenyan Mukami Kariuki.
Mpundu who is a lawyer by training and will be taking over from Kariuki who officially finishes her tour of duty tomorrow.
