ZACC probes Minister July Moyo’s Morton Jeffray Water Pump scandal

The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) is investigating Minister of Local Government, July Moyo’s Morton Jeffray Water Pump deal, which is believed to have been conducted in a corrupt manner.

Morton Jeffray Water Pump is Harare’s main water works, which supplies the capital city and its satellite towns.

However, renowned investigative journalist Hopewell Chin’ono who is known for exposing corruption says people should not read much into the probe as results are already known.

“July Moyo’s corrupt Water Pump scandal is now being probed.

“But don’t read too much into it as yet until there is a proper result.

“Moyo has destroyed Harare City Council using his ministerial powers, crafting looting deals using ZANUPF officials and Mwonzora’s councilors,” he says.
