George Charamba
Presidential Spokesperson George Charamba has issued a serious warning to a local online news publication and threatened action for dragging President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s name into the Mugabe exhumation and reburial saga.
Charamba, was reacting to a story by the Newshawks alleging that Mnangagwa is entangled into the matter regarding the late ex-President Robert Mugabe’s exhumation and reburial matter ordered by Chief Zvimba.
The publication wrote:
‘The late ex-Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe’s children have taken Chief Zvimba to court over their father’s burial controversy, in which President Emmerson Mnangagwa is entangled.
‘Zvimba wants Mugabe to be reburied claiming clan traditions were not followed.’
However, Charamba in response using his alleged shadow Twitter handle, Jamwanda says Mnangagwa should not be dragged into this, adding that the President’s name is not even cited in the court application.
Charamba goes on to say the publication has provoked the State enough, therefore now deserve a strong reaction from the government.
“You guys now deserve a strong reaction from Government. Manyanya!!!!
“Is the President cited in the court application???? Why do you drag in the President in your foolish narrative.
“You stop it or you hear from us. You have goaded us enough!!!” Writes Charamba.
