Woman dies after tissue rack falls on her in OK Gweru supermarket

A Gweru woman was injured on her spinal cord and died after a tissue rack fell on her while on a shopping spree at a local OK supermarket.

The deceased was identfied as Doctor Masenda’s wife, Sarah.

An employee at Doctor Masenda’s surgery who pleaded for anonymity told zimnewsnet that Mrs Masenda met the fate on Sartuday and died the following day upon admission at a local hospital.

“Yes my boss’s wife was involved in a freaky accident at OK Mart while shopping with some of her family members. Her spinal cord was badly damaged leading to her death,” said the source.

OK Mart employees confirmed the incident which they said is being investigated by top management at their headquarters in Harare. zimnewsnet
