The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) says it has no plans to raid people keeping large sums of money at home or business premises.
RBZ governor John Mushayavanhu made statement in response to a story by a local daily newspaper alleging that the central bank is planning to swoop on people keeping large sums of money outside the banking system.
Mushayavanhu said the central bank respects property rights.
