West Ham Signs Zimbabwean Prospect David Chigwada from Manchester City Academy

West Ham United has signed 17-year-old Zimbabwean prospect David Chigwada from Manchester City Academy. Born in the UK to Zimbabwean parents, Chigwada will initially join West Ham’s academy to continue his development before advancing to the senior team.

Chigwada, who previously trained with the Blackburn Rovers Academy, will join fellow Zimbabwean talent Sean Tarima. The 19-year-old defender, already part of West Ham’s academy, signed his first professional contract last year.
