London accident scene: Zimbabwean man dies at the crash site

A UK based Zimbabwean man is believed to have died on the spot after his vehicle was involved in an accident in London, last week on Friday, 28th April.
According to reports, police were called to Stockley Road near junction 4 of the M4 at about 5.20 in the morning to reports of a car in collision with a van.
One of the drivers, a Zimbabwean man identified was treated on arrival by paramedics after being found suffering a cardiac arrest, but died at the scene.
A second person was taken to hospital with injuries to their wrist and neck.
A picture tweeted by a local police showed debris strewn across the road and the front end of a black car crushed in the crash.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) and an air ambulance attended.
A LAS spokeswoman said: “We were called at 5.12am today (28 April) to reports of a road traffic collision at Stockley Road, Hillingdon.
“We sent two ambulance crews, two incident response officers, two single responders in cars, a motorcycle paramedic and also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance to the scene.
“We treated one patient suffering cardiac arrest but sadly he died at the scene. We also treated a second patient for shock, neck and wrist pain and took him to hospital as a priority.”
No arrests have been made.
