The ‘Yellow Wave’ currently sweeping across Zimbabwe’s political landscape is simply just unstoppable and after all the uncertainty bred by national policing authorities’ attempts to stop Nelson Chamisa’s opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) from holding their final pre-poll star rally in Epworth before the crucial by-elections to be held on Saturday.
And, for urbanites from this isolated part of Harare Metropolitan Province, today can as well be dubbed Yellow Thursday as the populated neighborhood has been turned with the CCC colours.
An apparently bouyant Chamisa took to his Twitter account to caption jubilant supporters at the rally, saying:
“WE’RE IN EPWORTH THIS AFTERNOON FOR OUR FINAL BY-ELECTION RALLY… Our lawyers went to court to fight the ban.. I’m told the police are no longer opposing the holding of the rally. We’re unstoppable!!!”
