A Valentine’s Day proposal at Mambos Chicken in Harare ended in heartbreak for a young man after his girlfriend rejected his offer of marriage.
In a video that has since gone viral, the man can be seen proposing to his girlfriend, who appears unimpressed and infuriated.
Despite the cheers of onlookers, she adamantly rejects his proposal, prompting the man to throw himself on the floor and try to hold onto her legs. The girlfriend eventually breaks free, grabs the teddy bear he had bought for her, throws it in his face, and leaves the restaurant.
In an interview with reporters, the angry young lady stated that she was not ready for that kind of commitment. The video has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some blaming the woman for publicly humiliating her boyfriend.
