Zimbabwean advocate Vimbai Nyemba has been elected Southern Africa Development Community Layers Association (SADC-LA) president.
Meanwhile, the body has congratulated the new executive team.
“SADC Lawyers Association congratulates Mrs Vimbai Nyemba for being elected as the President of the SADC-LA Executive Committee (EXCO) & Council.
“We also congratulate the new members elected to the SADC-LA EXCO,” said the regional lawyers’ body.
The SADC-LA is a voluntary association made up of law societies, bar associations and individual lawyers from 15 member states in the Southern African region.
