Cde ED Mnangagwa who is supposed to be on leave toured Zimbabwe Technology Company (ZITCO) premises in Harare this morning with Acting Zimbabwe President General Chiwenga.
Mnangagwa’s working relationship with Chiwenga has sparked debate among Zimbabweans after a prominent lawyer said ED has practically vacated office and handed over power to Chiwenga as the country’s constitution does not allow a President to appoint someone to act in his place while he is around and carrying out some of his duties.
Practically Mnangagwa is not on leave he is working with Chiwenga being the Acting President of The Republic.
This never happened in Mugabe’s government.
