A disturbing report has surfaced that a female patient attempted suicide today in the morning at Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare. While the cause of her actions is yet to be determined, incidents of suicide have become increasingly prevalent in Zimbabwe.
Just recently, another individual in Harare barely escaped death after attempting to jump from the roof of a high-rise building with the intention of ending their life.
The police are encouraging the public to confide in their loved ones and seek help in difficult times like this. Suicide should never be normalized or considered as a viable solution.
