Last night some University of Zimbabwe students were arrested for protesting against the 2nd college fees increase.
UZ students demonstrated against what they called unreasonable and exorbitant fees hikes.
Thousands of students could be heard shouting fees must fall.
Meanwhile, this second hike comes barely 2 weeks after another hike, which triggered a protest that saw ten students arrested.
Education is a basic human right, and critics have blamed the government for running down the country’s economy affecting the education system at the same time.
They say the looting of public funds & the plunder of the country’s natural resources by ZANU-PF elites has left the country bleeding.
