The United African National Council (UANC) Zimbabwe president Nesbert Mutengezanwa has died.
He was a member of the Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD) principals and a member of its Information and Communication sub-committee.
POLAD was set up by President Emmerson Mnangagwa after the disputed 2018 elections and is made up of over 18 mainly obscure opposition political parties.
Ministry of Information Permanent Secretary, Nick Mangwana, announced Mutengezanwa’s death.
“Sad to learn of the passing on of United African National Council (ANC) Zimbabwe president Mr Nesbert Mutengezanwa who was a member of POLAD principals and a member of its Information and Communication sub-committee. May His Soul Rest Peace,” he said.
