Typhoid Scare Hits Gweru

GWERU City Council has called for a meeting with residents to discuss issues related to a purported typhoid outbreak in the city.

A message forwarded to residents by Gweru City Council spokesperson, Mr Manford Gambiza reads:

Morning to you all. We kindly ask for your presence at the Mayor’s Parlour today at 1200 noon to discuss issues related to the purported outbreak of typhoid in Gweru.

The Director Health Services will brief you

A cumulative total of 1 506 suspected cases of typhoid were reported in Gweru in 2018 when the pandemic struck……. more to follow
