Morgan Tsvangirai Has Colon Cancer, Latest News On MDC Leader’s Health

MDC T president Morgan Tsvangirai has revealed that he is suffering from cancer of the colon.

Tsvangirai who has been on low profile since questions were raised about his health and welbeing following MDC Harare rally, has revealed to Zimbabwe that ‘as a leader he feels obliged to disclose his medical situation to avoid unnecessary speculation and rumours’.

Mr Tsvangirai who is currently in South Africa for medical check up was referred there by his Zimbabwean doctor where he had a successful operation according to a statement from his party.

He issued a thankful message to his wife and colleagues at MDC who have been very supportive while he was away receiving treatment.

As of this week Zimbabwe’s opposition leader Morgan  Tsvangirai is receiving chemotherapy treatment at a South African private clinic.
