Trio Pounces On Liquor Delivery Truck, Steals US$25 000

National police authorities have reported a robbery case in which three armed robbers pounced on a liquor delivery truck before getting away with US$25 000 and two cellphones.

While confirming the development, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) took to its Twitter handle, posting:

“The ZRP is investigating a robbery case which occurred on 16/07/22 at around 1700 hours along Chakari-Chegutu Road at the 7km peg.”

“Two unidentified men and a woman armed with unknown rifles intercepted a liquor delivery truck before stealing US$25 000 cash as well as two cellphones from the driver and his assistant. Anyone with information to contact any nearest Police Station. #notorobberry.”
