Reports say the late Dengu had asked Chamunorwa to get his parents’ vehicle so that he could ferry his bricks for a fee. The Mirror also reported that, during the time of the accident, there were four people in the car and the others had been hired to load the bricks.

The surviving trio, including the driver, is said to be battling for their dear lives at Chivhu General Hospital.

While confirming the tragic car crash, provincial police publicist for ZRP Mashonaland East Province, Simon Chazovachiyi, made a passionate appeal to motorists to follow stipulated speed limits in the pursuit of avoiding accidents on the country’s roads.

According to the police, the accident happened near Chivhu Location shops and the bricks were supposed to be ferried from Skyview to Chivhu Location.
