There is a plot to overthrow Mnangagwa: Zim Minister

Home Affairs Minister Cain Mathema alleges that there is a serious plot by some Zimbabwe based foreign individuals to overthrow the Mnangagwa led government.

Addressing reporters Mathema said:

“We have received information to the effect that a group of foreign nationals wants to organize a 3-day civic organization workshop in Bulawayo in May 2019. The main agenda of the workshop is to capacitate civic and individuals to stage effective demonstrations and disturbances to overthrow the ZANU PF government.”

“My ministry has since directed the Commissioner General of Police to put adequate security measures in place to deal with anyone who engages in any form of violence and disturbances.”
