Theft of Toyota Hiace at Bulawayo Cemetery

A man from Bulawayo who was attending to the burial of a relative last weekend lost his Toyota Hiace to robbers at a cemetery in the second city.

The incident occurred last Saturday at around 1015hrs at Umvutshwa Cemetery, Harrisvale.

“Police in Bulawayo are investigating a theft of a motor vehicle case which occurred at Umvutshwa Cemetery, Harrisvale on 26/02/22 at about 1015 hrs,” said the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in a post on their Twitter account.

The police said that the complainant parked his Toyota Hiace truck with registration numbers, AEQ 6974, while attending the burial of a relative.

After the burial, said the police, the man discovered that his vehicle had been stolen.
