Terrified Zimbabweans in SA send belongings home, as xenophobic fears grip

Terrified Zimbabweans in South Africa are sending their possessions home as fears of xenophobic violence intensify, reports Newshawks.

Cross-border bus companies say they are seeing fewer passengers but a huge increase in the amount of luggage being transported.

Meanwhile, the South African government recently called for the banning of buses that transport illegal immigrants into the country.

Apparently, Zimbabweans constitute a one of, if not the ‘huge’ number of people who trekked down to SA in search of greener pastures.

South Africans are accusing foreigners of taking away their jobs and engaging in criminal activities.
