Norton independent Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa has disclosed his trick for winning elections wherever he contests.
Mliswa says it is neither about buying votes nor giving out hand outs, but about being with the people.
“This is one of the reasons why I win where I contest. It’s not about money or handouts but being on the ground with the people.
“People across the board should feel represented and to do that make time to be with them,” he said.
Mliswa added that the bringing in of late MDC founder Morgan Tsvangirai’s brother Richard Tsvangirai to square up with him in Norton will not help Citizens Coalition for Change win the seat.
“I’m aware of @CCCZimbabwe bringing in Richard Tsvangirai to contest for Norton.
“There is need for him to create his own legacy and name and not expect to ride on the family name. I have not seen anything on the ground in Norton to show seriousness,” he said.
