UK based Zimbabwean man accused of murdering a fellow countryman in England will face trial today, zimnews has been told.
Zimbabwean born Zanele Leigh-Anne Malachi, 22, died in hospital on April 12 after allegedly being attacked by Tapiwa douglas Furusa known online as Tee Faz.
Appearing before a Sheffield Court in July Tapiwa Furusa, 37, did not enter a plea to the charge of murder.
Judge Julian Goose set today, 5 October, as the date for Furusa’s provisional trial.
Zanele was daughter to prominent Masvingo businessman Rannie Mahachi.
She was buried in her hometown a month following her death.
According to police reports from UK, her death caused by multiple stub wounds in a targeted attack that occurred at her mother’s home in Sheffield.
