War Against Mugabe Government..Harare Today
Today Zimbabweans staged street demos and marches against the imminent bond notes launch and unemployment in the country.
The protests were led by Tajamuka and and jobless graduates who are demanding jobs and security in Zimbabwe.
A petition signed by different civil societies was handed over to The Ministry of Finance in Harare this afternoon.
Apart from warning the government against issuing of Bond Notes, document also outlines outlines the issues affecting Zimbabweans on a day to day bases as the economy crumbles.
The Zimbabwe Reserve Bank is currently sitting on stashes of worthless bond money that should have been officially rolled out last month.
This was postponed to October after the government panicked following Beitbridge and Harare riots.
At the moment things are so bad and they have been left with no option than to bring in the hated token money which has since been dismissed as little lower than toilet paper.
While addressing a rally in Bindura last week President Robert Mugabe told his supporters that the bond notes were coming to Zimbabwe whether people like it or not.
Even his wife, Doctor Grace, was heard at a recent rally telling shocked listeners to brace themselves for new currency.
