A stressed man has survived a jump from the top of Tanganyika Building at the corner of 3rd Street and Kwame Nkrumah Avenue in Harare Central Business District while attempting to commit suicide.
His fall was broken by the roofing of a small building structure underneath which absorbed the landing impact.
Firefighters rescued the man who was taken to hospital badly hurt but alive.
The unnamed man attempted suicide by jumping from this building after a man who had been negotiating with him attempted to grab him.
