National police authorities are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of suspected carjackers who allegedly stole, and latter dumped a Toyota Hilux Surf vehicle along an unnamed road in Crowhill Views, in the capital, Harare.
Apart from the now recovered jalopy, the robbers also stole a Toyota Vanguard vehicle and a laptop.
Writing on Twitter, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said:
ZRP Borrowdale is investigating a case of theft of a black Toyota Hilux Surf vehicle, AEO 4990, an unregistered beige Toyota Vanguard vehicle and a laptop which occurred on 12/06/22 at a house in Crowhill Views, Harare.
The Toyota Hilux Surf vehicle was recovered dumped along an unnamed road in Crowhill Views. Anyone with information to contact any nearest Police Station. #notocrime.
