Speeding lady driver kills 4 after losing control at busy flea market

A speeding driver hit four people among them three children, killing one on spot at Mupedzanhamo flea market on Friday morning.

Three others reportedly died upon admission at a local hospital.

Illegal hawkers operating near Mupedzanhamo robots witnessed stranger than fiction as a 13 year old boy was dragged under a moving car for 10 metres leaving him dead.

Sources close to the incident said they were traumatised by the death of the boy after a driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road hitting another driver who was disembarking from his car.

“After the horrific incident people were further traumatised as the driver reportedly drove towards vendors who were selling bales commonly referred to as mabhero where the car hit two sisters who were window shopping with their babies,” said Innocent Magetu who witnessed the incident.

Idah Mutesvi also said business came to a standstill for almost an hour as the road was blocked.
