Some Zimbabweans not cooperating with Census Enumerators, others threaten harm

There are some people in Harare who are not cooperating with Census enumerators.

In Warren Park an enumerator was recently chased away by a respondent holding a knife threatening to kill him, in Warren Park.

The case was reported to police and the respondent was arrested.

In Mandara one case was reported of a respondent who wanted to burn an enumerator with some hot water.

Another case was of an enumerator who was offered USD150 by Pakistani family in Avondale thinking that he was from the immigration department. The case reported to police.

And enumerator in ward 41 was biten by dogs.

Meanwhile, a robber mugged a Census 2022 supervisor in Bikita and stole a tablet phone.

Apparenyly, he was caught trying to sell the gadget in Gutu.
