6 Children die during church baptism in Sadza Zimbabwe, Mutorahuku River death

zwnews.com was told that  a total of 8 children were taken to the stream for baptism by 2 church women Jane Rivinga and Maude Dzuke.
They drowned in the water after being swept away by a strong current.
2 others were rescued from the river and they are still in very critical condition at Sadza district hospital.
Dzuke and Ruvinga were arrested yesterday and they are still in police custody helping with investigations.
They have already been charged with culpable homicide.
According to eye witnesses,  the disaster could have been avoided if a proper health and safety check was done by a responsible adult.
zwnews.com is not sure about the name of the church and the pastor who was doing the baptism.
We won’t publish it for now until our next update on this story. zwnews.com
