Zimbabwe reported 248 new Covid-19 infections and 2 deaths on Monday, according to the ministry of health.
Apparently, data from the ministry indicate that most of the new infections are in schools.
Meanwhile, teachers unions have been complaining that schools were opened before they ready, with some lacking proper protective services.
However, the government said conducted visits to assess readiness before re-opening.
