Robert Mugabe’s eldest son, Robert jnr attends ZANU-PF rally, says he will continue his father’s legacy

The late former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe’s eldest son Robert Jnr is attending a Zanu PF rally to be addressed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa in Chitungwiza.

Mnangagwa dislodged Mugabe in 2017 through a military coup.

Meanwhile, Robert jnr’s act is believed to be the first time a member of the Mugabe family has attended a Zanu PF event since their father’s ouster by Mnangagwa in a 2017 coup.

Meanwhile, Robert Jnr, speaking at the rally in Chitungwiza, said he’s a “Zanu PF child and it’s only right that he continues the legacy founded by his father.

His father died bitter after he was ousted by one of his most trusted lieutenant.

Mnangagwa was Mugabe’s right hand man for years, who was known to have no kwown close friends.

Mugabe was a lone hunter.
