In a positive development, a Kwekwe-based youthful entrepreneur has embarked on a youth empowerment drive in a bid to assist local youths amid the Covid-19 scourge which has negatively impacted on most of the youths.
Through his Karinito Studios, Simbarashe Mashayamombe, who is popularly known as Boss Sidoe Kandu in local circles, has set his sights on helping out talented youths freely record at the stable and have their music marketed.
“The coronavirus pandemic has affected all of us and financially, the consequences have been so severe,” Boss Sidoe said in an interview with Zwnews at his stable in Amaveni high density suburb this week.
“The pandemic has actually been so adverse, particularly on the local artists who can no longer have their music recorded since most of their daily hustles ceased due to the lockdowns,” he said.
“What we are trying to do at Karinito studios is to ensure that- not only the artists but all the youths who want to unlock their artistic potential are given the opportunity to realize their full potential,” Boss Sidoe added.
He further equipped:
“So, we are also encouraging our youths at the stable to vaccinate as Covid-19 has now become a reality with cases and deaths rising on a daily basis”.
