We have recieved reports that Alfonso Dlakama’s Renamo rebels crossed into Zimbabwe to steal medical equipment near Zona tea estate.
They ended up killing 3 teachers forcing students to flee into nearby forestss.
The informant told zwnews.com that a number of nurses were abducted and taken away by the Renamo rebels.
Last week we reported that there is hightened tension between Renamo and Zimbabwe.
We also recieved unconfirmed reports that a bus full of Zimbabwean soldiers came under fire in Mozambique as the ZNA personnel were on theior way to Gorongoza to help Mozambique government.
According to reports from Mozambique, a number of Zimbabwean soldiers were killed in the crossfire.
